Our Team

Sue OchoaSue OchoaSue is a Travel Consultant with ten years experience in the travel industry.

A graduate of the Marriott Hotel Excellence Certified Travel Consultant program. Sue has been a travel consultant and tour escort for her entire travel career. Sue is presently, the Manager of Cruise and Land Tour co-ordination for LDS.Travel Her travel experience and knowledge in handling both individuals and groups has proved invaluable to her clients and those working with her.

Sue is married to John, who frequently travels and works with Sue on escorting trips, they have four children three of which are married, and they have 6 grandsons. Sue and John love to travel and have enjoyed escorting trips and love working with the guests. Sue and John always get excellent reviews from our past customers.


David BeagleyDavid BeagleyLDS Travel is pleased to bring you David Beagley as one of our guest hosts! David is very knowledgeable and experienced, and was considered one of the best guides during the Nauvoo Temple Open House Tours. His groups loved his personality and his inspirational messages.

David LaMar Beagley was born in 1944 in Provo, Utah to Jessie and Althea Beagley. He was the tenth child of twelve, totaling nine boys and three girls. At age sixteen he ran away from his polygamist home in Utah and joined the LDS Church in Flagstaff, Arizona.

He married Roberta Boyd in the Salt Lake Temple on May 27, 1966. They are the parents of six children and eighteen grandchildren. He graduated form Southern Utah State University in 1970 and moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho to begin his 20 year career in the Seminary Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He taught in Cedar City, Utah, Idaho Falls, Idaho, American Fork, Utah and Pleasant Grove, Utah.


Bruce PorterBruce PorterBruce has worked at BYU in Religious Studies Center doing Scripture research, and gospel doctrine manuals. He has also worked for the Church doing scriptural research on the Book of Abraham in Eastern US, Europe, Middle East, and Egypt, locating the Will of Antonio Lebolo. Bruce has been a CES Institute director and teacher in Southern California, and is now teaching for BYU Continuing Education, adult religion classes in the Mesa Arizona area. His degrees include a BS degree from BYU in Ancient Neareast Studies (Middle east languages, cultures and religions), two semesters in Israel for Judaic and Biblical studies. (second child born there), a MS BYU Ancient Middle east studies and Egyptology, and Doc. in the History of Religions (origin and symbolism in ancient religions) Bruce has served in three bishoprics, often as gospel doctrine teacher, and now serving now on the Queen Creek Stake High Council. He is married to Margaret Carey and has 10 children (none at home). His hobbies include reading, scripture research, writing and getting older.


Steve & Karolyn DanaStephen C. Dana & Karolyn DanaThe Dana’s have over 42 years of Travel, Management and Corporate Development experience in Arizona and Utah. For 5 years they have specialized in Humanitarian Travel Expeditions and Vacation Humanitarian Travel. The Village of Hope trips to Ethiopia have highlighted the Humanitarian Work.

With over 10 years of business experience, Karolyn Dana has exceptional organizational skills, making her an incredible Travel Coordinator for Humanitarian Travel. She attributes this skill in part to having accounted for and raised 9 children!

Over the last 42 years, they have had many opportunities to travel the world, visiting many places including the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Central America, and Europe. In 2001, over 6000 people traveled to Palmyra, Kirtland, NYC, Washington DC and Niagara Falls, in groups coordinated and escorted by the Dana's.
